yes the 360 has harcore games but that doesnt mean hardcore gamers are stuck on the wii it just means they have less to choose from.

thats really it luigidude.
the wii is great for a new gamer but people who have been playing games for years are just finding it hard to have something with alot of replay value.
May be if somethings like Metriod Prime 3 had a multiplayer WI-FI it might be better.
But now the best to multiplayer games out are Brawl and Mario Kart. and Hell sometimes I even still go back and play Mario strikers.
But aalso we can't forget about Legend of Zedla Twightlight Princess a Great game and Metriod Prime 3 had a good single PLayer as well as battlion wars is also an amazing game.
But Mainly for the Hardcore gamers really just stick with the major titles.
And we all know that the major title are good when they come out.

I'm kinda of hating Nintendo now, Sure they have great games but what is up with them constantly making us buy new game systems? First Nintendo DS phat?(I think that's the first one), then the lite version, and now DSi?? I know I dont have to buy them but what if there's a new game that's only on that console? The only time I would play my Wii again is if they get Majora's Mask on VC.
Nintendo's lack of trying to create the perfect game has became so bad that they are turning me into a Microsoft fanboy. Seriously god, brawl delayed 3 times.
This is a tribute to all the great times I had with Nintendo games in the past.

Umm... Ehh... Yeah, your right.
The biggest problem that I have with Nintendo is that they have just abandoned us. They don't give two ****s about their hardcore audience anymore, and that was proven when at E3 (gaming convention for HARDCORE GAMERS), they showed off Wii Music and Animal Crossing as their big games of the year. Wow, just wow.
One difference with the Wii and the Gamecube is that the Wii is actually making Nintendo money. They have found a new crowd of tween girls and grandmas that love to shake that Wii Mote, and they don't give a crap about us anymore, because this new crowd is keeping the Wii at the top of the sales charts and it will continue to do so until those people grow brains.
The gamecube had AMAZING games, it's probably the best Nintendo System of all time. Smash Bros Melee, Twilight Princess, Wind Waker, The Metroid Primes, Pikmin, the introduction of animal crossing, the first 3D fire emblem, it was an amazing system. But it didn't have online, and it didn't have groundbreaking graphics, so people bought the PS2 and Xbox instead. And that is why Nintendo switched over to the Effing "casual" crowd. So they could make money.
The Wii is not a hardcore system. Friend codes are a joke, the lack of hard drive space means that you can only have three N64 games and a Wii Ware game on your system before you have to delete the games that you purchased to make room to download more games, and 90% of the games on the system is shovel ware minigame GARBAGE!
Sure, occasionally a gem will pop up like Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, and Brawl, but it is fairly safe to say that Nintendo isn't interested in making games that we actually enjoy. They have found a new crowd and they are going to stick with it until people realize that the Wii is a giant gimmick, and maybe then Nintendo will wake up.
I haven't given up on Nintendo quite yet though. They make REALLY good games sometimes, there is no denying that. But until Nintendo starts making some real games, I'm not even going to think of buying another Wii game anytime soon.
And that shouldn't be much of a problem because my PS3 and PC are providing me with games that I actually give a crap about.
