Neon Genesis Evangelion (series) Yesterday, I borrowed the Neon Genesis Evangelion Platinum boxed set from a friend and watched the first 10 episodes last night.
This. Anime. Is. AWESOME.
It's the best Giant Robot Anime I have ever watched. It is strongly recommended to everyone here. I can't even explain why, it just kicks ass...

...That said, the rewrite of the last 2 episodes (known as the movie 'End of Evangelion') is just bizzare, but it's a more decisive ending than the one that was actually provided during the series.

Ok now that i've actually watch it I can say this with out any hesitation,(not that i hesitated in the first place)
