You can have a signature which appears at the bottom of each of your posts on all Runboard hosted message boards.
It can be text, a link or an image, but has to be added using BBCODE (you CANNOT use html or flash)
The maximum size for the total signature (including ALL text and images) is 500px width x 150px height
If the signature is bigger than that size the overflow is hidden and not shown.
Find 'Signature (optional):' and in the textbox to the right put the bbcode for whatever you want in your signature.
A Link is formed

We do not host images for you and so upload it to a free host such as
If you want a linked image then mix the two

You can have an avatar (also called a personal picture) which can appear in your posts underneath your username.
1. You need to find an image which is 60px width x 60px height

3. Get the url they give you which starts with the http:// and ends with the files extension ie a gif of a jpg
For 'Avatar 60x60 pixels image URL(optional):' paste in the textbox to the right of it the url you got for the image.
Click Save Settings.
(If there is a problem you will be returned to the same page and the error will be shown in red text at the top)
Do not add an avatar with a large filesize. (to find out the filesize right click on the click and select properties and it will give you the size in kb.
DO NOT ADD AN AVATAR BIGGER THAN 250KB.If possible not larger than 100kb as even that will be slow for users using dialup.
