The only thing that excites me about the presidential election is the strawberry/blueberry pancakes that my mom makes on election day. She's been doing it for years. I guess it's her way to show patriotism or something.

I pretty much spent the last year learning everything there is to know about current events for an academic contest (second at state, baby!), and have since barely even skimmed the news. However, I think I'm rooting for Obama. Not that it matters much--I can't vote, but still.
