Life of Pi
I'm reading Life of Pi by Yann Matel, and so far, I'm really liking it. It addresses religon in ways that I've never thought of, without being labeled a 'religious book'. It explains Christianity, Hinduisn, and Islam (and it might address Judaism but I haven't gotten that far yet). It's a fictional story about a boy named Pi, but also his views on everything, and how he's a practioner of all major religons. Anyway, has anyone else read it?

Re: Life of Pi
Yes! I adored Life of Pi; I disagree with some of it, but I loved the way it was written and how he really gets into everything. If I ever have any money, I'll buy it and reread it! It's been about a year, so I don't remember every detail, but I remember loving it.

Re: Life of Pi
Pleck...I tried reading it once and didn't get past the second chapter. But that was when I was in like 6th grade, and everyone I've talked to who has read it has loved it so I think this summer I'll try again now that I'm "mature and intellectual". *snorts at self*
