Astounding!

And yeah, Mel, I think you're about my sister's age or a little older (she's 13). So you could probably do Ender's Game if you wanted. If you like that whole space battle/end of the world kind of stuff. It's good.

I am currently reading The Devil and Miss Prym by Paulo Cohelo (or some sort of spelling). I'm about done...it's good. But more intellectual and examining the true nature of people and also good and evil. I like it.

Once I'm done I'll probably read Sophie's World which is like a philosophy textbook written in fiction form...it should be interesting.

I'm working on Atonement. I haven't read a whole lot 'cause I haven't been feeling that great, but what I've read is pretty good.

I'll be starting on Atonement as soon as I actually have time.

There's nothing like getting done with track at 5:45 and being at work by 6:00 every night that you don't have a meet. Good stuff. Especially since I have to close next week...

^^You know, I'm generally a Matheson fan, but I simply could not stand Hell House.

Anyway...

I liked it, but it was....weird ... more weird than his stuff usually is. I finished it, but I didn't really care for it all that much either.

I Am Legend was pretty awesome though.

it's NOTHING like the movie.

Atonement was AMAZING.

And soon I'll have to start my college reading. Just one book so far because I only have the one class for sure...I have to read something called Reservation Blues by Sherman Alexie.

Anyone heard of it? It doesn't sound all that great to me. And now I'll have to go by a copy.
