I must say that I love The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton. It's almost an obsession.
Also Blood of Heaven by Bill Myers...great book. What else, what else...I like most things by Neal Shusterman, and Scott Westerfeld.

I also love To Kill a Mockingbird. And, oh, what else.... Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, The Chronicles of Narnia... all the usual sci-fi/fantasy suspects. Dan Brown, Terry Pratchett, and Carl Sagan are all amazing. Too many to name, really.

Sphere and The Stand are my two faves because they show the flaws and demises of humanity and what could have happened or what will happen.

I also love Letters of Tranquility.

She's moving way too fast and all he wanted was to hold her.
Nothing that he tells her's really having an effect.
He whispers that he loves her,
but she's probably only looking for...
