I've seen them "Hyperpak" which he says retails for £180 but hes selling them for £80, still cheaper than what some places are quoting for a CDI to be tested and a lot less than what they want for a repair or replacement.

Just checked on Ebay and hes selling some more.

Did you get any performance improvement out of it? Supposed to have "better" timing curves.

I don't see how it can make any difference on a gk71f...

We have 2 pickups...when the rotor goes past one...the CDI pulses to one of the ignition coils...and when it goes past the other pickup...then it pulses the other coil...

Different on the gk73/76 as they have only 1 pickup and a microprocessor that does all the working out so maybe able to modify in that case...but not in ours I don't believe???

Re: Top Speed Figures

My gk76a revs freely to the red line and I have seen about 115mph on it so far. I doubt very much that it's restricted. I would be interested to see what it will do, but I'm afraid my testicles are not large enough. I may get round to having it dyno tested one day.

If your testicles were too big, they would slow you down - too much drag, lol
