Line 6

does anyone know the answer to this, i have a line 6 xt live floorboard and the output should be set to "amp" yet i tried it set to "line" and it is way more responsive, dynamic and louder ! could the switch be wired up back to front ? Or am i not understanding how it is supposed to work ? By the way i use the XT live straight into the front of a combo amp.

Many thanks if ya can help.......Many thanks if ya can't !! lol

Rock on...........jonesy6

Re: Line 6

Hi Jonesy6 an' I have a Line6 POD XR Live and I connect it directly to my mixer via the left an' right XLR guitar direct outputs. This setup in turn feeds from the mixer to 2 x Mackie SRM350 powered PA speakers. Usual routine after that I just d/load all the guitar/amp sounds that I want for any particular song which in turn saves me lugging around a big amp. I have only had the Line6 a couple of weeks or so and thus far I am pretty impressed with it. I only wanted a guitar floorbox not a synth and I find Line6 does the job very good, at least for me.

I guess in the end its all about experimenting with the kit and finding the sweetest sound/setup you prefer. If your setup is better (for you in your opinion) then I would stick with it. Failing that email paulhinomarsh66@hotmail.co.uk who is a Line6 UK Rep and he knows Line6 stuff inside out.

Good Luck Bud
