Isaiah 55:6-8


 "Seek ye the LORD while he may be found,call ye upon him while he is near;"

 "Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he (meaning God)will have mercy upon him: (Meaning the unrighteous man) and to our God for he will abundantly pardon."

 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD."


 I did a brief study on the word "LORD". and in the Hebrew it means Jehovah the self-Existent or Eternal One.

 I realized that puts God on a whole different plain than us. Because we need him to survive. The only reason we can take our next breath is because God allows us to. Jesus said in John 15:5B.." for without me ye can do nothing." That's true since Jesus is God. (Isa.9:6)

 When it comes to God he needs none of us to exist because he's on a whole different level. He's not human he's Spirit John 4:24 says,"God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth."

  Well that's my commentary for the day.

What comes to my mind is all of the people, including us sometimes, who think they can get by without God, it's all a BLUFF, because we could not even breathe if God didn't want us to!

I'm also struck by the ongoing references here and in our Bible Study of what we should seek: God...the Lord...wisdom....
