Wife leaving for Africa
She will be leaving next Tuesday for 3 weeks. This is a part of her job being a Methodist minister for the Methodist Global Ministry. She went last year a lots happened here at home while she was gone.
My car was run over by a semi-trailer and totalled. The steering in her car broke and had to be fixed. Jonathan had to go to the Dr. I had to go to the ER. We ran out of money and my wife had to wire $$'s to us by way on internet from Africa. So prayers for me and Jonathan that things remain normal while she is out of the country, don't need any excitement. Thanks,
David

Re: Wife leaving for Africa
Father God, over this next week we pray that a hedge of protection would be established around David and his son and his wife. We pray for traveling mercies upon David's wife that you will keep her safe in the air and on the ground, guard her against any illness or harm. And for David and his son, please Lord, may their 3 weeks pass by uneventfully, free from worry or crisis. Bless David with peaceful, restful nights, and seizure and stress free days. We thank you for David's presence here and for his many gifts that contribute to the advancement of your Kingdom. In Jesus Name.
Amen
Karen

Re: Wife leaving for Africa
Thank you, David for the sacrifice you freely give in order to allow your wife to travel and do God's work!
I couldn't say it any better than Karen, so will stand here as a witness that these prayers are lifted up to You, Oh God, Most High, as a sweet smelling smoke of supplication. We can't wait to see what You do in these people's, your servants, lives!
with love

Re: Wife leaving for Africa
Dear Father I agree with the petition raised here for David and his precious family.
I pray Lord his health holds up, no calamities happen at home, his wife is safe and that the work she is doing , Father brings someone to salvation. God, be with their son and keep them all safe.
In Jesus name.
Amen
David, where is she going to be? My Daughter will be in Karima,Kenya.
I did not realize she was a minister, did I read that correctly?

Re: Wife leaving for Africa
You read correctly, she has been a Methodist minister for about 15 years.
She travelled to Kenya last year. This year she is going to the Ivory Coast, the west coast of Africa where American slavery began.

Re: Wife leaving for Africa
I too stand in prayer with my brother and sisters. Lord, please fill Davids wife with the Holy Spirit as she goes and teaches Your Word to those who do not know you Lord. Lord, we ask for a hedge of protection around her and around David and his son as she is in Africa. Lord, may you keep them all safe from harm. Lord I pray that David and his son would take this time to make memories and share in Father son activities and that tehir love would grow stronger.
Its in your Name AMEN

Re: Wife leaving for Africa
One of the water supply lines in the bathroom jusst burst and water went everywhere. It took some doing, but I did manage to get the water shut off. It went into the bedroom and leaked through the second floor down into the garage.
She does not leave until tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Wife leaving for Africa
Father God, we lift up David and his family today. Bless his wife as she travels and I pray that you will give them all a peaceful three weeks. May the burst pipe be the only snag that they hit at this time. Please, Lord, allow them to feel your presence and power in their lives right now, let them know that you are in control of every circumstance. I pray that David's sinuses will clear up and that his blood sugar would stabilize. In Jesus name. Amen.

Re: Wife leaving for Africa
oh David, I am so sorry you have to deal with that too. Maybe it is all going to happen before she leaves this time so that the rest of your time is restful and joyful time with your son That is my prayer for you.
Dear Lord, we lift up our brother David to you Lord. Please help him to fix the pipes and make this leak and easy fix with little damage Lord, please. Lord we also lift up his wife as she leaves on her trip to Africa today. Give her direction, strength, enduracne, perseerence and rest as she goes to teach your word to the needy and broken.
Lord, please keep the house, the car and everything David has to do, please keep it simple and help him keep his health stable as well while she is gone. Sometimes, all we can do is laugh at those little things and wonder if you are laughing too. Thank you Lord for David and his perseverence and humor in this. Thank you Lord that he has felt well enough to come and share with us. And we lift these thingss to you in your Son's precious Name, Jesus, Amen

Re: Wife leaving for Africa
David, how is your wife doing? Do you get to talk to her at all or have any way of communication with her? i will keep her in our prayers.
I will also keep you and your son in prayer that this time will not be filled with craziness but time for the two of you to share and enjoy
Joleen
Lord, we come this morning and we thank you Father for your Servant that you have sent to Africa to serve and spread your precious Word to those in need. Lord I also lift up David and his son that you would give them peace within the house and within their lives. Lord, may Your will be done. May they find comfort knowing that their loved one is safe. Lord may their time with each other be peaceful and may the things of the world not get in the way of this special time between a father and a son. Its in your precious name we pray, Amen
