For my Aunt Dorothy
My Mom just called to tell me she just got off the phone with my Aunt Dorothy, from South Carolina. She has fallen again, this time injuring both hips, though no fracture. She just returned hope only a month or two ago after recovering from a broken leg. Now it looks like she may have to go to assisted living.
So prayer for her pain, her living arrangements and for Mom who is disappointed now that the visit my Aunt had planned here probably won't be happening.
Thanks.
Karen

Re: For my Aunt Dorothy
Oh Karen, I'm so sorry about your aunt Dorothy. I will join you in prayer for your aunt and also for your mom who must be so disappointed. Am also praying for your pain (from weeding?) and hoping you will sleep well tonight, my friend!! I know that when I overdo, it takes a couple of days before I really get hit with the payback. For you, I pray there is no payback!!
Keep us posted on how your aunt is doing. This is such a difficult thing for the elderly, to leave home and have to go into a different living situation! I pray this will work out well.
love, V.

Re: For my Aunt Dorothy
Karen, I am so sorry to hear about your Aunt Dorothy too. I stand in prayer with Virginia as well as we come together "where two or more are gathered".Please keep us posted on how she is doing Karen.
Lord, thank you for our sister Karen. Lord we lift up her Aunt Dorothy. Lod as one grows older is it so hard to see them go through certain stages in thier life. Lord we ask that you give Karen and her Mom the wisdom to make the decisions that lay a head. That they have peace and comfort knowing that wherever she is that they will take good care of her and will be able to take some responsibility off of them. it is so hard Lord to see your loved one enduring pain and suffering. Please comfort them and guide them Lord. We thank you and we glorify your Holy Name, Amen
Karen, my arms are around you.I am hurting for you. Hang in there. Love, Joleen
