Welcome to "Healing Friends!"
Hi dear friends and gentle readers!
Welcome to "Healing Friends." This message board is intended to be a place where, as Christians, we can share how we deal with our disorders, our challenges, struggles and victories!
The disorders I see covered here will include (but not limited to) Arnold Chiari Malformation; syringomyelia; Ehlers Danlos Syndrome; Tethered Cord and Occult Tight Filum; Jefferson Fracture and other skull-base fractures and trauma (since these result in symptoms so alike to those suffered by Chiarians); Hydrocephalus and other brain disorders and all other related disorders. Patients, Family and Friends and caregivers are all welcome.
I'd like this board to function by its users with the definitive rule of thumb: "What Would Jesus Do?" If we follow this simple guideline, we should all get along great. Along with this, an important rule (if we MUST have rules) is to disallow any and all negative posts against named entities (people, doctors, institutions). If you wish to pass along a negative experience, do so off-board.
"Healing Friends" is not a place for debates about doctrine. It IS a place where we can freely share Bible verses and how Jesus has helped us bear our burdens. On other boards, we are not allowed to share these things freely and I can understand why. Thus, I think "Healing Friends" will serve a purpose that will uplift, encourage, edify and support our brothers and sisters in the Lord.

THis place is like a breath of fresh air in a polluted world.
To have someplace to read of others who rely on the power of the Lord to get them through their days is exactly what I needed at this time in my life.
I am so happy to be here that I could just spit...just kidding I can't spit it just rolls down my chin LOL...Sue
