Upcoming Surgery for Riley Price
Hi , I am so thankful for this board, thank you horseshadowrider!
Riley, will have surgery for his tethered cord on March 2, @7;30 AM, at TCI in New York. We are at peace with this as, God has directed the path to this place. Riley is seven years old, and we are fortunate to have found this place .. God Bless you and we ask for your prayers.

Re: Upcoming Surgery for Riley Price
Gale, thank YOU, you were the one to first inspire this thought of doing a board like this!
My prayers will be with Riley every day and will look forward to hearing from you as to how he is doing. God is preparing the way and is a light unto Riley's path....and that is SO encouraging to know, isn't it.

Re: Update on Surgery for Riley Price
Update: One of the three surgeons has come to talk to Jared and Dawnna, they have released a very very tight tethered cord, his syrix inside his cord was huge he said, and they have taken fluid from it, there was no exchange of csf fluid happening between the brain and cord today. They say he will be in pain and have a headache, bur within three weeks they hope the brain will go back where it belongs and the csf flow will be fine. They are optimistic for Riley getting well! He will be in surgery about another hour as another surgeon is doing his part now.Praise God Praise God!!!!

Re: Update on Surgery for Riley Price
Hallelujah and Thank You, Jesus!
and gee, it feels good to be able to type that on a message board!
Let us know the next news. You know, one of our members, Lisa, her children (some) have had this surgery as well, so she can tell you more of what to expect.
God bless and I'm so glad it all went well!
love, V.
