Idle Banter do's & don'ts
Okay, so recently there seems to have been some confusion as to what should be posted in here, what should be posted else where and what just shouldn't be posted full stop.
So i thought i'd try & sort out that confusion, so here we go..
Post it here if..
It's a quirky and original thread that you haven't seen on here before. (remember to use the search button at the right hand side of the top of the page before posting a thread kidzz)
If it's a topic that will apply to more then one or two hors.
If it's funny interesting and going to cause lots of good discussion.
Don't post it here if..
It's about:
*A film
*A celebrity
*Any type of media text
*Art in all it's forms (photography, classic, etc)
*A designer, new collection or anything to do with the fashion world or clothes or style or...you get the drift.
This is the wrong place for your thread! It's not that we don't want it on our Horum, but it just belongs elsewhere!
please post it in the Creative & Cultured Section instead.
it's about:
*A club night you've been to/are advertising
*A DJ you enjoy/are
*A Club you would recommend/asking for clubs in different towns
*Anything to do with club nights/clubs/DJs
If you want to post a thread about one of the above then your thread belongs in the Clubnight & Djs Section
Its about:
*A band/Musician
*A genre
*A movement
*A venue
*A record Label
Then you should post your thread in the
Other Bands Section
If you post a thread in this section and it seems to disappear it has probably been moved to one of these sections instead that us Admin & Mods though was more appropriate for it...
But if you posted a thread in here and it seemed to disappear and not be in any of these sections then it's probably been deleted, which brings me to my next point..
Don't post it at all if..
*It's a thread that only requires a one word post reply, we regard this as spam and it does our heads in as people who want to boost their post count tend to post in them endlessly, thus they are constantly getting bumped and decent threads are getting knocked off the first page very quickly and going unnoticed.
*If it's something about yourself, or just completely irrelevant to anyone else on here
e.g.
Subject: OMGZZZ!!!111
Message: I just went down stairs and felt like someone was watching me, then i looked out of the window and the window cleaner was there staring at me lololol!!!
if you still feel the need to post utter garbage like this at least try and make it more relevant to everyone else.
e.g.

Have any of you ever felt like someone’s watching you before or been stalked by a window cleaner?
but that would still be a wank thread so i highly suggest you reframe from posting something like that no matter how much you feel it necessary. Maybe a myspace bulletin would suit it better?
*If it's really offensive, i.e racism/homophobia/etc Everyone loves a bit of un-PC banter but lets not take it too far..
I think that’s about it, let me know if there’s anything else you would like to know/if this thread is utter bull and hasn't helped anyone..
