lotsa people will be on his back for this (not that that'll bother him!), but i find it wonderfully hilarious!
it's (probably) only amusing if you know the pride he takes in being British & the way he takes the piss outta himself anyway.
i've said b4 to others that he has become a self parody, but unlike others that reach that stage, he is aware of it & plays off it

There was this documentary here, made by a Belgian journalist so I don't know if it's been on tv in the UK, but it was basically him guiding the journalist around London a few years ago, and he seemed alright. I mean, he acts crazy on stage and it may seem like glory has long since faded, but he did say some interesting things in that documentary, and seemed very proud still to be British (seeing as it was about the greatness of England or something like that.) It was called 'Reynebeau & Rotten', if anyone's interested. You see them become good friends, it's was worth the watch.

he does somat similar on the extras for the Sex Pistols Live @ Brixton '07 dvd. he takes the viewer on a trip round London on an open top double decker bus - most entertaining!
