Got it, installed it on my desk top and it wouldn't work on my machine... Friend of mine got it, installed it on his laptop and it froze after about 10 minutes. But it looked real cool while it was running...

It definitely sounds like they need to fix it before taking the "beta" label off of it. I was going to download this sometime soon, but I'd rather not go through the time downloading it on dialup if there's a good chance it'll just freeze up or not work at all (thanks for the warning, Pastor Rick!)
So Moose, which CSS isn't working on it that you've seen so far? Also, have you sent them any feedback to let them know?

Well, they probably know about the freezing up after 10 minutes, if nothing else, since two people have already mentioned it in this thread alone. 
And if the CSS issues are with things as common as hover effects, then they probably already know about that as well.
I wonder if I should tell them to go over to CSS Zen Garden and see how their browser compares to FF with the different designs.

It's a show-off site, but its intent isn't merely to give people a venue to say, "Hey, look what I can do!" While I'm sure plenty of people only use it to show off their talents, its focus is to encourage others to do all of their styling with CSS, through "showing off" the power of CSS.
People can most certainly learn from it as well, through trial and error, and from people searching for ways to accomplish the layout they're trying to accomplish with CSS alone.
