Screen Res. Option Disappeared.
Hiya, I don't know if any of you can help me with this.. But I usually use the 1280×1024 Screen Resolution, and was using it earlier today.. well Last night anyway lol. I had a windows update on my computer, I wasn't paying attention to what it was, but when it had me restart, the Screen was at 1024x768. I went to re-change it back to my usual, and This is what I saw:
The only two options are 800x600, and 1024x768. I googled this problem, and came up with 2 different suggestions.. One was to try to update the adapter and monitor drivers.. Neither of those worked, I kept getting an error message (A missing dll but I would have to try again to find which.)
The second was to do a system recovery.. So I did.. I was prepared to lose all my stuff I err.. Have on my computer just to get my preffered resolution back.. But when I got everything back it was the same way...
Anyone have any idea what's wrong? I could offer more detail.. just tell me what I should say lol.

Get new vid drivers.... but before you install them remove all vid card drivers currently on your system. Use a scrubber for your flavor of vid card. Only then should you install the new drivers.
