hey everyone

To attract members, you should add interesting topics to every forum and invite responses to those topics. Also, a link in your signature will advertise your board everywhere you post. Maybe something like:

With a name like Posters Retreat, I'm thinking a nature scene like a lake, forest, or the Grand Canyon. Or maybe a tropical beach with umbrellas and beach chairs, or a swimming pool. Would you prefer serene or festive, or if they can be incorporated... both?

You do not know me well, if at all, but she was not everything- you yourself are something, and if she took off- she didn't have enough regard for you.
BTW- I have visited your board, and I think it will turn out pretty well once it gets going.

I agree with Emm, hok.
"You complete me" may sound like a romantic sentiment, but it's really a self-destructive way of thinking, imo. You are a complete person all by yourself, and a healthy relationship comes from two complete people sharing their lives together.
You need to stop relying on others to make you happy and just be happy with who you are and what you have. Then, when the right lady comes along, your relationship with her will be so much better.
As for the board, I haven't had time to give it much thought yet, but I should have some time tomorrow.
