Two of the brothers that taught me in Catholic high school were convicted of sexual abuse of kids in my class. One died before trial and the other is doing time.
Our Vice Principal used to be a Golden Gloves boxer before he joined the brotherhood. He wasn't into sex abuse, just physical violence. You did not want to piss this guy off.

Yeah like the nuns who drummed multiplication tables into me, with the sharp end of a ruler with a metal bar in it. Jeez those women were bad!
I can only imagine how they'd deal with modern kids and their mouths. We'd get scrubbed with soap for saying "shut up" or even "OK".

Oh yes, I was taught by Nuns in elementary school and they used the rulers with the metal edge too. They would rap our knuckles with it. I remember one time when Sister Rose-Anna chased Clifford Bathalon around the classroom because he didn't want to get hit. It was funny as hell to see them running around. I don't remember how it ended, just the chase.

Very true, where was he when thousands of little boys were being raped.
And the other thing that annoyed me about it was that the priests they interviewed said that its only during the last 40 or 70 years.
What are they talking about? Priests have been raping little boys for the past 2,000 years.
Skokey, they other thing they used to do was to tie left-handed kids' hands up so they had to write with their right hands.
