Im trying to add something in my signature space like a pic or my name in glitter with a html code but it dosent do anything?

Jason, you really should preview your posts before posting them. 
This is what he posted:
[img]ADD IMAGE URL HERE[/img]
It just converted and tried to post an image with the url of "ADD IMAGE URL HERE" which doesn't exist.
To add the image that's in my signature, you would put:
[img]http://lesigns.com/temple.gif[/img]

Actually, it wouldn't go at the end of that. It would be...

Jason, "Add this to the end of that" means "Add the following code to the code I just told you to use." You said:
[img]ADD IMAGE URL HERE[/img]
If you want it to link, add this to the end of that:
[url=URL GOES HERE]
Following those directions would give you this:
[img]ADD IMAGE URL HERE[/img][url=URL GOES HERE]
Clearly that is wrong, because it should be this:
[url=URL GOES HERE][img]ADD IMAGE URL HERE[/img][/url]
Perhaps you just meant to switch "this" and "that" around in your post ("Add the code I just told you to use to the following code")? At any rate, you still forgot about closing off the link, so even adding the image code after the url code would have been technically incorrect, because the image code has to go between the "start url" and "end url" tags. 
As for your BBCode converting, that is what is supposed to happen if you forget to un-check the box that says "Use BBCode?" The reason your [url] code didn't convert like your [img] code did is because you didn't close [url] off in your post.
