things i thought to write
once we detach, once we let go and move on we find that all truth was already known, that the mystery was simply allowed.
can it be known while still here?
can the shroud be lifted? awareness reached? it can. Anythings possible... possibility is everything! and everything is nothing at all.
It changes things dramatically to live as awareness while inhabiting a body being "human". The intellect the ego/mind becomes a tool a useful tool but ceases to define "you" you become awareness "you" are the tree, the dog, the kitten, your annoying co-worker, the air, a thought, energy, all things connected like crests rising above the sea below.
Thoughts are bursts of ever flowing energy and not as concrete as the mind desperately wants them to be, it may panic, it may try to convince you your "crazy", that you must let it call the shots, to pacify yourself with trivial intellectual distractions, with drugs, with other desires. It dies hard but attachment to it can be transcended and and you can simply live without such attachment.
---------------------------------------------------
one cool thing about consistently telling the truth is it forces you to check yourself.
unless you already live in a very virtuous and empathetic way you will find yourself having to fess up to some embarrassing and hurtful stuff.
so you start to change for the better so telling the truth isn't so difficult...
just the regularly practiced act of honesty itself is a great catalyst for positive change.

They would never let me play Moment of Truth because I have nothing to hide.
I'll agree to the extent that once we are able to detach, it becomes possible for us to discover the truth. Too often, people just don't discover it because they simply don't like the answer, and/or because it goes against their assumption.

Re: things i thought to write
Do you keep the past buried and pretend it never happened, or have you come clean with everything?
You don't have to answer that if you don't want to.

I like you too. I applaud you for making the change, and I really applaud you for having the courage to come clean with whatever it was you did in the past. Whatever you were like in the past, you're a great person now, and I'm glad to know you.

*high fives back*
You might not have liked me if your first impression of me was at SUSA (acronym for the site, not the name of a poster). Then again, if you know anything about the people in the particular section I posted in (which was short lived), you might have laughed your ass off at what I did there.

yep.... many people just want to tiptoe through life, livng the way they were conditioned to live...
I chose to change.....now what you see is what you get, most times its for the better, on some rare occasions, it's not....and I have to eat crow...
you are awesome how you are!
