Just to let you know.
Myself and Krimple (remember him?) plus the majority of my work mates will be on:
Karak-Hirn for Destruction
Karak-Azgul for Order.
(World's Edge is no longer available as a server doh)

My main (is) is Aggaa
He's a Disciple of Khaine (Dark Elf melee dps/healer)
He is on Karak-Hirn (destruction) and presently level 8 BR6 I think

what are the diffirence between Core and rvr realms?
are the core realms like wows pve realms?
since pvp seems to be a bigger part then in wow can you still engage in pvp with peeps on a core realm?

Yep core is wow pve equivelent (care bear)
rvr is the pvp equivelent in wow..
However on core there are rvr area's (much like the world pvp areas) in which you become automatically flagged as soon as you enter.. These areas are the most fun imo
Its mucho fun in the RvR areas as there are multiple npc's if your faction dont hold it.. So alot of the time (for order anyway) you find yourself fighting npcs and pvp people come along.. Those fights are sweet and full of action ^^ even better when there are large numbers of both sides.. I was in 1 last night which went on for ages, about 30v30 (ish) - was great :P
