Imo PVP is much better in Warhammer. I particularly like the Khaine's Embrace senario. You have to capture two points on opposite sides of the map. If one team manages to capture both points then they explode after a few seconds killing anyone within the blast radius. You can get a good laugh watching people unsuccessfully fleeing from the explosions while you sit at a safe distance... particularly if the only reason they cant escape is because you and a friend are blocking the enterence of the tunnel that leads to safety :P
As for PVE id have to say WOW is superior. I didn't come across many dungeons in War and the ones i did were very short. Maybe they'll improve the PVE content in time but i feel that PVP (RVR) is where the focus is for now.

If you want a quick synopsis it goes like this.. totally imo;
PVE = nightmare slow grind
PVP Scenarios = all people do
PVP World = why would people bother?
If you love pvp - YAY its a winner
If you love PVE - Boo - going back to wow.
I feel I'm in the love PVE bracket.. Personally version 1.1 will keep my account open to see what happens - but 1st impressions are yes - its good - In many ways beeter than wow - however ultimately it isn't wow and could never be better....
Its a great alternative - good for an evening of mindless slaughter (self included) when not WOW raiding :P

warhammer's been a fresh breath of air of me. the pvp is way better with many more battle ground areas.
for questing i like their on board quest tracker which saves loads of time looking for the right location. the greenskin area is best for me. will never forget entering an orc village watching two orcs playing football with a snotling. sound effects included! i nearly died laughing!
Having said that i would say the instancing is poor in comparison to wow. and its instancing that ive been missin the most to be honest. there is still stuff i wanna do like get a char to top lvl (40) but i can see me returing to wow at some point in the near future.
