Singer/Actress Jennifer Hudson is reportedly pregnant. Sources close to the singer confirmed to Essence.com that Jennifer and her fiance David Otunga, are expecting their first child together.
Jennifer and David, a former contestant of “I Love New York 2″ and a Harvard graduate, plan on getting married as soon as the Award-winning actress and singer finishes touring. Jennifer is currently on tour in the U.S. featuring Robin Thicke, and David is in Florida training to become a professional wrestler

Jennifer Hudson may have kept mum about her pregnancy, but when it comes to her baby boy, she's just another outspoken and proud mama.
"He's the cutest thing in the world!" raved the Grammy-winning singer, who gave birth to David Daniel Otunga Jr. on Aug. 10. "There are no words for it. He's the best. It's just amazing – us discovering each other, me becoming a mom."
Performing with Julianne Hough in New York for The Wizard of Oz Netflix concert at Central Park's Rumsey Playfield Tuesday night, Hudson, 27, paid tribute to the 1939 film's classic songs with a contemporary interpretation of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." And it looks like her son, her first with fiancé David Otunga, may be following in his mom's famous footsteps.
He's Musical!
"He seems like he's very interested in music already. The other night he was having a fit screaming, and someone turns on the music and he just stops and calms down. And I was exactly the same way as a baby," said Hudson, who played "Let It Be Me," her collaboration with Rod Stewart, to calm her son. "Sometimes when he cries, I try to harmonize!"
But Little David's growing affinity for music isn't all that he's displaying. "He's a very rare newborn," Hudson said. "He tries a lot – he's turning over, he's lifting up his own head, he tries to hold his own bottle, sometimes I swear he's talking to me, or at least trying to. The other day he said, 'Hi!' – I swear, I'm not crazy. David was there too, and he was like, 'He just said, "Hi!" ' He's very aware."
And while Hudson lost her mother amid tragic circumstances last year, "I think she was a great example of being a mother, so when [my son] first got home, I was like, 'Everything I do will be out of love,' " said Hudson. "That's what drives me in the middle of the night when I'm knocked out sleeping and he wakes up."
With the holidays coming up, Hudson is eager to share them with the newest family addition. "It's going to be ridiculous. I can't wait," she gushed. "His dad went and bought him some Halloween stuff the other night. I wish he was older so he could remember it, but this is the first one, so I have to go all out. It's going to be great."
