You gotta start somewhere, and Jennifer Hudson is starting in Albany.
The ”American Idol” finalist, Academy Award winner and freshly minted Grammy Award winner is finally hitting road for a concert tour. Hudson will be stepping into the spotlight at the Palace Theatre in Albany at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, in support of her self-titled debut album, which was honored with the Grammy for Best R&B Album earlier this month.
The concert will be the first concert on Hudson’s first solo tour.
Joining Hudson will be R&B singer Robin Thicke, touring on the heels of his hit album, “Something Else.”
Priced at $49, $39, $59 and $69, tickets for the Palace show will go on sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the theater box office and Ticketmaster outlets, as well as by phone at (800) 745-3000 and online at http://www.ticketmaster.com.
