Here's a topic to talk about the upcoming competitions. No limits on the stuff you can say, as this is the official discussion topic. Please don't post spoilers anywhere else but this topic. Thank you

On topic pictures have been leaked of a new 1st obstacle replacing the steps it seems to be 12 small logs that must be traversed like the steps ( poor aoki) but nothing can be confirmed til Sunday. All obstacles in the 1st stage have been confirmed except the circle hammer so that's 50-50. Very little is known about stage 2 except that the swing ladder is (finally) gone  . No details on stage 3 yet and stage 4 is the same as 22
A comercial has found it's way on to YouTube of someone climbing the tower but due to the crowd just standing there chances are it's just a tester but they'd be testing it for someone.
There will be 10 Americans running the course although none have been announced yet and won't be til Sunday
Competitors confirmed.
5/6 All stars very unlikely bunpei will be competing
Yuuji urushihara ( final stage in 22)
Hitoshi kanno ( dq on spider flip in 22)
Lee en chi
Hiromichi sato.
EDIT just this minute I found out that after 16 tournaments the monkey akira oomri is returning to sasuke
As for kunoichi not much is known except the only people confirmed are
Maho tanaka
Mother and daughter team higashi
So it looks like no yuko no rie no chie and 100% no miyake but it is belived that mika izumi will be there but not 100% maybe 50-50.
As for obstacles not much is known except in stage 1 there is a chain swing like obstacle. The swinging beams return and the final stage is now an alternating brick climb

Didn't know about sasuke's obstacle changing but knew pretty much the rest of that.
Nice recap though gavo.
For more competitors I believe Lost In Ube has a list of quite a few that have been confirmed due to various blogs.

I wonder how much G4 pays for having 10 Americans in that competition. After all it is a tenth of all starting positions.

And today and 3 or 10 past three there will be a short preview on tbs and on tv ants tbs is listed as tv fuji I will update this as it does change often

Yeah I can't keep track of which channel TBS is on. I hope it works on sunday as I don't have a real tv and Keyhole is rubbish.
Is there any picture proof of the steps being replaced with a new obstacle?
I didn't expect the circle hammer to stay but hopefully there's a new good obstacle.

Tbs is now on ntv but this will probarly change tommorow so check here tomorrow around 1hour before sasuke starts
