posticon Washing w/ Baking Soda

I decided to experiment some with baking soda recently. In fact I went all the way and took a few scoops of baking soda and stirring it into my shampoo, and IT WORKS! I washed with it today for the first time, and I gotta tell you, it made my hair look so much cleaner and gave it more curl factor, which is a good thing for the Natural Locking Process, correct?

But anyhow, check this link, it contains not only other ways to use baking soda, but also how you can use it for every time you wash!

//www.armhammer.com/mybody/body_tips.asp

"Hair Care
 For locks that rock, remember to shake it. Sprinkle a small amount (quarter-size) of ARM & HAMMER® Baking Soda into your palm along with your favorite shampoo. Shampoo as usual and rinse thoroughly. The ARM & HAMMER® Baking Soda helps remove the residue that styling products leave behind so your hair is cleaner and more manageable." emoticon

So I decided maybe it's time to type up a new Sig, and it's like, "What am I gonna talk about?" Yeah, that was pointless! :-P

and also, my hair is now starting to really show more change all of a sudden. I doubt washing with the baking soda just one time made everything form together? hmmm

I hope you can tell a difference like I did. I do put a quarter size of the baking soda in my palm with each time I add more shampoo to my hair when washing. :-)

that just means they added baking soda to it, it's a very powerful cleaning agent even by itself. Baking Soda alone is 100% consumable, you can put it in your food, take it by spoon as an antacid, use it to clean anything imaginable with it, use it as an exfolliating facial, wash your body with it, AND hair. it's safe. :)

Why mix it with shampoo?

Before I got Bronners I used to just mix it with enough water so it'd become a paster, and then do the scalp thing and rinse - works just as good.
