I grew up with punk music. When I was in the 6th grade (in the 80's) I was listening to G.B.H. and The Clash.
In the early 90's, I was surrounded by the punk rock scene in D.C. ie - lived in a group home with a bunch of musicians on Dischord label and I was one of the original Riot Girls. D.C. was the place to be back then.
This is a video on my old neighborhood and house known as "The Embassy".
i would have loved to be born back during the punk scene. i'd do anything to be able to go back and watch the ramones play.
