Is it right or wrong to disrespect other peoples Sacred Beliefs? Is that Faith?

disrespect= wrong.

and no, it is not faith, but something you're going to have to realize is that there are a number of people [and KL will provide a skewed sample] who do not function on the basis of faith. if you're goin to approach people about things outside of their comfort zone/frame of reference, it's often best to start from a point of commonality or from which they can understand you.

then there are the assholes, who harrass people with whom they disagree for whatever reason. the topic may make them uncomfortable [either from an emotional or intellectual perspective], they may honestly think they're right and are trying to help, or they may honestly just be hateful. the only person you can control and the only one you can change is yourself.

I notice a blatant and probably deliberate incongruity between the title of this and the body.

emoticon I'm most cool with what these two have said.

I personally don't have a problem with you or Jesus. But here is something I've noticed. I personally find the way you've chosen to multi-thread the same subject somewhat off-putting and even suspect it a bit juvenile. I could be wrong, but if I had to guess, you don't seem to have a lot of effort put into your conclusion. So it isn't your "Sacred Belief" in particular with which I have trouble. It is rather, that you seem to lack any substantial reflection or even any point at all.
Of all the various threads you've posted all I can guess is that the response you seek is YAY Jesus. So here ya go, "YaY Jesus". I'd like to also point out that you have failed as yet to post your "Just believe because I do" thread in the For Sale or Trade section.

If you'd like to have some sort of real discussion as to spirituality, I'm sure several here would be happy to engage, and myself included varying though our reasoning will be. To admit a flaw of mine, I do come off a little rough and a bit unpolished at times about things with which I have an interest. I have on more than one occasion lacked a bit of balance. And in this I'm truly trying to do better. But, because I was raised in a religiously biased household in the extreme, you are touching upon a subject that hits a nerve with me.

Should you continue to hold your soul saving revival meetings in numerous threads, you and I are going to have a discussion about the Bible that you aren't going to like, because Ive actually read it and studied it as well as other paths.

Basically I'm urging you to stop saving souls and discuss spirituality with us if you like, but without this mindless approach you're trying.

Hipknotic- all i want him to do is really come down from his perch on that high horse and reason with us.it's like a man looking up to the sky, begging for food, while people all around him are holding up pieces of bread. hilarious, and aggravating in the extreme.

Re: Would God want us to disrspect the Sacred Beliefs of others? Or respect them?

The real question here is-

Is an Atheist or Agnostic considered to have spiritual or sacred beliefs and rights?

And if so, is he or she being disrespected by repeatedly being subjected to attempts to be persuaded into another faith?

Would Jesus do that?

If I continually posted pronouncements that Allah is the one true God and Muhammad is his one true prophet... Muhammad is the only only path to happiness and enlightenment... would this be welcomed without argument?

Would this be considered disrespectful to your sacred beliefs?

Muhammad is love, let him into your heart.

Muhammad Saves.
