Very nice looking, but you will soon find out that here Wax is looked down upon greatly, and I'm sure others will be happy to elaborate on why that is so and the problems inherent with using wax.

Meh, some people can get away with using a tiny bit of wax, with no problems emoticon

it grosses me out personaly emoticon

but thats just my take on it.
i think the biggest problem is its over used.
ya gotta do what you think is best for your hair, just research it all first.

yeah but a little bit is not bad.. but when u put too much it not only feels nasty but its not good for the hair/knotts! Thats why i freaking got pissed and conditioned the hair and tried to take it all ouit.. course i destroyed all my progress at the time but then just let go

I'd say that we did overdo the wax a little on my locks, it was a pain in the butt. But theyre fine now and it really helped the locking process.

Hey y'all... I haven't posted here in a long time, before I really had any locks to speak of. Not that I have any NOW, but :P I doubt anybody remembers me from then, but who knows...

Anyway, I randomly felt like posting on here in an attempt to mark my progress... unfortunately I didn't really take very good pictures, or mark the dates on them, so I'll just make it up

This first one is 5 days of stopping brushing/conditioning

This is approximately 3 months later. I know it's hard to tell, but I'm white.

These are also at the 3 month mark (maybe even the same day, I dunno)... showing off the tangled mess

Here's me around 5 months, being a consummate rock star

And here's me probably around 6 or 7 months. Unfortunately I was afflicted with bubonic plague, as you can see

And I'm now at like 8 months or so, and well, sometimes I absolutely hate it and want to cut them off, but othertimes it's kind of neat having an odd head of hair. Maybe I'll pop back in here someday around the year mark. Hmmmm...
