Updated timeline for those who wanted to see how much mine unravelled and how much progress there has been.
Day 1, very poofy. 3 weeks.. unravelling. 5 weeks.. more unravelling.
5 weeks, back of my head, I hated that spot. Dreads were so loose, it was discouraging, at this point I felt like cutting. It was knotty, but way too loose. 2 months.. still unravelling, but not as much.
3 months, things start to look at tad bit better. Not unravelling much, starting to mat up near roots (but not much). 4 months, very loopy, very messy. I don't have pics, but some of my roots are sooooo funny, looping and like.. tips sticking UP.
Or making an S shape... but more than 1 S.
Today, 4 months and a half or something (along with my avatar), still enjoying the journey.
Moral of this timeline: be patient kids, it pays off.
