it's the lenght of the hair i think... mine were short when i started too, and seemed to never wanna lock up properly.. but then all of the sudden they dreaded up like hell when they grew a bit longerm guess the more hair, the more options for it to lock

Ohhh allright. I heard starting dreads shorter was better, and I didn't wanna wait for my hair to grow. That and now that I think about it, it was Knotty Boy that told me it's better to lock up with shorter hair, as long as you have their over priced wax in your hair! But thanks for the heads up, I needed some re assurance :ty:



Oh and Oriana, I agree with everyone else, what you did with your dreads and the jewels is pretty sweet, and your dreads are very cool!
