If you look at my avatar, there are 2 locks held together by 4 beads. They stayed together, then the tip looped up on itself and so now it's all one lock.

Same thing on the other side, did that in february, when I had 2 skinny locks, practicly no knots at all, held together by a bead.. and they locked up fine.

But now this lock that formed is eating a few hairs from another lock.. so they're barely connected by the root, but there's a dozen strands or more that go from one dread to another... so I'll leave it.

Then there's other stuff I posted in the dreadlocks section...
