if that little congo is the only result of 6 month congo-forcing, then it indeed doesn't look like your hair is meant to congo right now
Good point. I just want some phatter locks, started them very skinny. But I guess I'll let time take its toll *stomps foot like little kid*

Re: the Congo Game
i only "forced" (well, more like "helped along") 2 congos, but i´ve got about 6-8 on my head. it´s hard to tell b/c there are some congos that are part of other congos, so does that still allow the 1st congo to maintain it´s "congo" status, or does it fall under the kingdom of the 2nd congo that swalloed it up?
anyways, what i´m saying is that your dreads are going to try to combine regardless what you do. sure it may take a while, but eventually, THEY WILL.
if you do want to help some along, i´ve found that squeezing the dreads you want to combine together after you´ve washed them works pretty well. i think since because dreads are usually stiffer after washing them that they kinda stay where you put them, in a way. just get used to grabbing the dreads you want to congo and squeezing them together really tightly, especially near the roots. this will help them get used to being by eachother. consider it the foreplay of congo-ing.

well i'd say one root makes one congo, then you can have a lot of tips on it.
yeah, but what about a congo that joins up with other dreads which all eventually form one big congo? that original congo still has only 1 root even though it´s part of a larger congo. although, i guess it´s not a "root" anymore if it´s not near the head. just thinkin´ out loud, i guess...
