palm rolling is the only way to get your dreads to stay, if i dont do it three times before midnight they turn back into pumpkins. i mean regular hair

I never palmroll. That would take entirely too long and it would hurt my arms. I love my wild crazy shapes. My favorite dreads are zig zags :)

I did a few times in the first couple of months, but soon realized it was a waste of time and wasn't worth the strain on my arms.

also, I like having crazy shapes and loops and whatnot!

tried it and found I was too lazy to keep it up.. have found however that my flat ones round out after washing, and fluff up a bit so.. just takes time I guess

(should mention mine are far from mature yet)
