and i did an acv rinse once, i have no intention of ever doing that again dealing with that nasal diarrhea.
momentaum, why don't you use dr. bronners? there are variations for your needs.
or try diluting your shampoo, and rinsing well.
also, i don't know what stage your hair is in, however i would begin training your scalp for LESS washes. in turn it will produce less oils each time.. less dirt will be attracted.. less GUNK.

No one can know ones hair like their own self. (Which is why I recommended to formulate their own washing schedule and habits.) So while "several weeks" may work for some people, for others, that is simply too much time. I train every day. If I went for a couple of weeks (and I have, thanks) my head would be nasty. you know you've lost an internet argument when:
1) you have to type multi-paragraph, term paper-sized posts explaining yourself
2) you resort to personal attacks of "you're a *****" to "prove" a point
3) your post contains a BIG LOOOOOOL when what you typing ain't even funny
4) all of the above
