[POLL]should jonsparrow be a moderator?
point blank, yes, no, or don't care? should he be a moderator?
the general consensus is "no", lets add up the votes.
either way, make a selection..
i really don't want to engage is another pissing contest over it, keep it simple. i simply claim he has no dreads, contributes nothing to discussion besides meaningless babble, goes on hissy fits and random bannings and... where is he?
who would you like to see replace jon? who would want to?

yes- guy made a mistake but the functions of a mod don't require a rousting after one incident. He is just the moderator of a forum its not the is county sheriff seat.
I think you are convinced that Jon being mod means something deeply to him and that taking it away is supposed to hurt him/make him feel like a loser? (or something to that end)
has to do with the whole picture, not ONLY my banning.
i am convinced, you should be too. but my intentions here are not based on me trying to make him feel like a loser, he already knows what he is, and will be.

Its an issue of oversight- I believe that more (and active) mod seats will facilitate equilibrium. Even if he doesn't contribute as you say, there are unseen/unappreciated benefits to having an extra mod around.
On the subject of your banning: it was a pretty public feud and regardless of who won or lost the personal argument it is fair to say you were wrongly banned by sparrow.
It is my sense that the next ban will be weighed with careful consideration- especially by sparrow..
care to point out any of these benefits jon brings?
i'm sure i wasn't the first person(or last) to be banned for upsetting jons fragile emotional state, or his music career.
speaking of which, i heard he just went double polyester. 6 albums sold.

Re: [POLL]should jonsparrow be a moderator?
maybe admin should "hire" mods that are actually competent, instead of the subliterate clowns that cant even sitck to the rules, or act as a "mod". failed mods have been an issue for quite some time here it looks like.
