posticon [POLL]should jonsparrow be a moderator?

point blank, yes, no, or don't care? should he be a moderator?

the general consensus is "no", lets add up the votes.

either way, make a selection..

i really don't want to engage is another pissing contest over it, keep it simple. i simply claim he has no dreads, contributes nothing to discussion besides meaningless babble, goes on hissy fits and random bannings and... where is he?

who would you like to see replace jon? who would want to?

yes- guy made a mistake but the functions of a mod don't require a rousting after one incident. He is just the moderator of a forum its not the is county sheriff seat.

I think you are convinced that Jon being mod means something deeply to him and that taking it away is supposed to hurt him/make him feel like a loser? (or something to that end)

has to do with the whole picture, not ONLY my banning. emoticon

i am convinced, you should be too. but my intentions here are not based on me trying to make him feel like a loser, he already knows what he is, and will be. emoticon

Its an issue of oversight- I believe that more (and active) mod seats will facilitate equilibrium. Even if he doesn't contribute as you say, there are unseen/unappreciated benefits to having an extra mod around.

On the subject of your banning: it was a pretty public feud and regardless of who won or lost the personal argument it is fair to say you were wrongly banned by sparrow.

It is my sense that the next ban will be weighed with careful consideration- especially by sparrow..

care to point out any of these benefits jon brings? emoticon

i'm sure i wasn't the first person(or last) to be banned for upsetting jons fragile emotional state, or his music career. emoticon

speaking of which, i heard he just went double polyester. 6 albums sold.

maybe admin should "hire" mods that are actually competent, instead of the subliterate clowns that cant even sitck to the rules, or act as a "mod". failed mods have been an issue for quite some time here it looks like. emoticon

I don't think he should simply for the fact that he abused his power several times and in the past that has led to people being stripped of mod status (when dahuii was actually around). So nothing against jon, because he's a lot better than many mu****as here but...no.

yes- I ain't never had any issues with Jon, I would say one wrong ban ( which was corrected and everything is public) should not be grounds to remove his mod-hood.
emoticon @ Mod-hood... hehe
Dreads are not required to mod, hes had them before... that's a plus, but honestly its a forum, being a dreadhead isn't "required" for cleaning up all the crap and mess of a forum.
emoticon

Over the years we've had a lot of Mod's some good some crap...

If i was gonna vote to change something, I'd vote jops in for another Admin status.
He has more then proven himself over the years as a valuable and mature member.

Honestly i think to even be a mod, a person should have a min of 2 years on KL, So yea we could use an extra mod or 2 if jops was given admin.

K I'm rambling now emoticon that's my 2 cents.
