Dr. Mother****ing Bronner's....

Alright, so I'm stoked to get this ****, right? Everyone loves it and raves about it. "Yay for Dr. B" they say. But try as I might, I cant get my ****ing hair to feel clean. Pepperminty, tingly, wonderful and all that good ****, but it always ends up sticky feeling, almost like wax. I've diluted according to the directions, then cut that in half, should I cut it in half again? wtf? Anything I can do after the shampooing to keep the clean but cut the gunk? I dont wanna hear "yeah, it makes mine do that too!" no ****, I know what you're talking about. Someone who has overcome this little dilemma, shine some light, ya? emoticon

I was also really disappointed when I finally got some. I ended up using it to clean the toilet. It's evil for dreads. No way is that stuff residue free!!!

How much do you put in a bottle before you add water.

I use a squeeze of Bronners in an empty Bronners bottle. Like a quarter inch of it is all. Very little. Then the rest of the bottle is all water. You need almost no soap to water.

Thought I don't doubt you, I am always surprised to read that it leaves a filmy residue for some folks. It may be that sinse bronner's does not contain SLS, it does not sud up as much as other shampoos. Because of this it may appear the soap is all washed out if you see little or no suds.

Have you ever tried the bronner's soap bar?

Some other nice shampoos you may want to try are Avalon Organics, Pure and Basic, Jason, Alba...

PS...I've been using Bornner's for years, and it leaves my dreads and scalp feeling so clean with no film! I especially like the lavender.

for the millionth time,

what i do is get a little paper dixi cup. like those ones for your bathroom. i fill up about one quater of the cup wit soap. maybe a little bit less. thats not much at all. then i fill the rest of the cup with water. then i pour that on my scalp top back an sides. its enough to lather up your whole scalp an down your dreads. then i rinse them out real good an squeez an rub the locks starting from the scalp down an repeat till all soap is gone.

some times if i use to much soap after im done ill feel soap an some roots an ill have to go wash it out. if you use this method you should not have a problem. if you do then your retarded.
