2 bottles sounds like a lot and old wax is hard to get out. I don't know how well hot water would work so just try it and be careful.

Try using that baking soda, lemon juice, sea salt, tea tree oil, orange oil, boiling water recipe. I did it and it took a lot of the wax outta my hair ( and i had only waxed for a week ). I dont think u'll ever get all of it out, but i dunno. Good luck

your gonna get like half of the wax out...then the day you cut, which seems soon, your gonne look at the center of your so-called dreads and its gonna be full of ansty wax.

dude there is not ****ing way in hell your gonna get a 1/4 of that **** out no matter what you do and that is a FACT....

6months aint nothing, really it aint, comb them out and start over....cuz truthfuly your hair will never LOCK with that much wax glueing it in place


movement = knot
knot = dreads

wax = not movement = no locking = fake

well im not gonna cut my dreads, my family cant even convince me to but they look good, look like dreads smell fine never smell and arnt coming apart, so ill leave them and stoped using wax and in a yr or so all the new groth will form into dreads fine.
