Anchorage AK

Looks like I'm en route within four weeks. Should be there for a year. Don't want to call this **** too early but looks like everything finally came through.

My father got hooked up with a REALLY good job that should hopefully get my family out of the financial hock we've been buried in for the past seven years. Im going to live up there with him so he doesn't have to be by himself, I'll goto school- start a real life with a fresh start. I hope.

Anybody in AK that can give me a heads up on what to expect? I spent a short time there a couple of years ago but not much to go on.

the summer has been awesom this year. very little rain. get ready for super long days. winter is what you make it up here. if you can get out and about then things are better than sitting around in your house
