Sorry, Gang, that it has taken me so long to post. Things have been quite hectic and I didn't really know what was goin on.

Friday, May 29th, we ran at Bloomington Speedway. The night started off really good with a pole position in our heat race! We finished 2nd which qualified me to participate in the redraw for the feature. I drew the 4th starting spot, which is outside row 2! These were my best 2 starts at Bloomington Speedway!

Well, when the feature started, the track was already black and slick. That was the downfall for me. I was starting on the outside and I like to run the bottom, especially when it is slick. Well, to mine and my brothers misfortune, as I was trying to hang on and work my way to the bottom, the car was loose in turns 3 & 4 and with some help from behind, I spun out. Greg #6J had nowhere to go and hit me in the front left corner of the car. Long story short, I rode the hook into the pits and so did Greg.

The damage to my car was a trashed nose and fenders, bent and broken horns on the front of the clip, and a bent center link. The damage to Greg's car was a broken right rear leaf spring, drive shaft, transmission and bell housing. And, of course, the right side of the body.

Due to the extent of the damage to my car, I would not be racing on Saturday night at Lincoln Park Speedway.
