Saturday, August 22 - Brownstown Speedway
Saturday, we decided to give Brownstown Speedway a try. It has been over a year since we have raced there and I have learned a lot during that year. Well the draw landed me a starting spot on the tail of the first heat race, starting 10th. I was running in the 8th spot at around the half way point when I spun myself out in turns 1 & 2. I restarted the tail and passed 2 cars to finish in the 7th spot. That would line me up outside row 3 in the first of 2 b-mains. 2 cars would transfer from each b-main. I didn't do nearly as well in the b-main. The track was a lot slicker than it was in the heat race. I finished 10th and loaded the car.
