Legacy logo... ready NOW
Hi all,
I have the work done on the symbol , I have a nifty template available that will make it (relatively) easy for you to transfer the logo onto a shield cover perfectly.

You're not going to want to "free draw" this... no way you'll be able to pull it off.
Instead, use a "grid system"... the logo I'll post is imposed over a square grid. You can simply draw a bigger version of this grid onto your shield cover using a fabric pencil (available at Wal-MArt or fabric stores), they look like this:
... and then draw the symbol following the boxes. Piece of cake, and as long as you drew the grid on only lightly you can wipe it right off and have a purty shield!
Highly recommended you use a right angle with measures on it, something like this:
to draw the grid.

OK who is going to volunteer to do this to my shield? I struggle at writing my name legibly, I am not going to be able to copy the logo.

I might be able to take it and get it enlarged at kinkos and do a cut out thing for our shields at the weapon building day if anyone is interested. Just let me know what size your shield width is that way I can get different sizes for smaller shields. I will also have to look into prices but this shouldn't be too hard. What do you guys think?

A potential alternative for some people is to print out a small copy, paste it on a sheet of thin cardboard, cut out the symbol, and mount it in front of a desk lamp. Project the image onto the shield in a dark room, trace the outline with chalk, and paint afterwards.

Host it on a website. So long as people have adobe acrobat, they can view/save it. I can host it on zagref.tripod.com if you e-mail it to me.

Yes, but then I have to wait for the image be be sent to Fingers and be hosted by him before I can start messing around with it rather than just wait for Athron to e-mail it directly to me.
