Events Legacy hosts, co-hosts this year?
Hey all, as an Eryndor unit, we need to host / co-host some Eryndor events this year.
The schedule isn't set in stone yet this year, but it looks like several Eryndor day events + one possible campout (Crossroads) and then the normal national events (Rag, Badon, etc.).

Re: Events Legacy hosts, co-hosts this year?
Personally I think that the minimum that we should do are the following.
Legacy should run the season opener in Monroe in April.
Either just Legacy or Legacy and another unit to co-host Crossroads 4 in may.
Legacy should run the Eryndor only ragnarok practice.
Legacy and with the help of other units should try to run day battles for at least one day at Ragnarok.
Legacy should run a day event at Secor Park in August. (I've thoroughly enjoyed the past few)
Legacy should run the season closer.
Thats my opinion

Re: Events Legacy hosts, co-hosts this year?
I like your thinking, Torm. I like the idea of Legacy openning and closing the season. And I feel like, at least for this first year, Legacy should do the pre-rag practice, just b/c we have the ones that have done it before.
I think the Legacy could handle doing Crossroads alone. But has that been an Eryndor event or an Eryndor and LBTL event. I can't remember. I guess that's another thing to think about (provided LBTL would be interested in doing it again.)

Yeah I was thinking crossroads should be a cooperative hosting with all units stepping up, just like rag.

Re: Events Legacy hosts, co-hosts this year?
in response to my previous post
However when the decision between the units is made if
A) Everyone wants to host the same event then maybe we all should run it together or
B) Rotate between Unit A hosts this event this year and unit B hosts that event another year.
I do feel it is wrong tho' for Legacy to lay claim to hosting events like the season opener, closer and even the pre-rag practices.
Now I don't think Legacy shouldn't host these events, but when we all sit down to talk about it. Legacy shouldn't present it as if they already are going to be hosting them.
I hope I've made my opinion more clear, as I feel like I hadn't said everything I had wanted to.

What/where's this one now? Is that in toledo? It *sure* wold be nice for those of us living south-wards, to have events to attend that are NOT over the michigan border! LOL

Secor park is in Toledo
From memory I think the closer was held there and so was the Red street Riots.
