Legacy Meeting - March 28, 4pm in Newport, MI
Hey everyone,
Here are the details about the meeting
When: March 28
What time: 4pm
Where: The Baker Estate, 6060 Lily Patch St, Newport, MI 48166
Thank you Baker parents for letting us use your home.
Torm mentioned a number of things that we should talk about at this meeting, and I will quote what he said
"I. May Event
1)Location
2)Story Ideas
3)Find out who's going to run/manage
a. Meal/Feast
-How many people can we expect for a May Day Event.
b. WEAPONS CHECK
-needs to get with coordinator to get the bullhorn and also needs get checking equipment in general.
c. Troll
-Needs to get the updated waiver list for the new year.
-Tags
d. clean up
-Make sure garbage bags are available for when people are eating.
e. Battles/General Heralding
-Tabbards (I think I have about 3)
f. "Space getter"
-Person who's in charge of getting permission to use the space. If needed.
II. Yearly Assessment of Legacy
1. What went well for us last year that we'd like to keep doing?
2. What did unit members not like about Legacy that can be improved?
3. What are our goals as a unit for the 2009 season?
III. Legacy Funds.
1. How much money does Legacy have?
2. Legacy has money? so what should we put this little money towards?
(Legacy cookout night at Rag? Community weapons? Camping supplies? Event bins?)"
Thank you Torm for bringing up these items for us to talk about.
I hope we can get a good amount of people here for this.

I am actually home instead of in Boston for college for this one so I'll try to make it up next weekend!
Hope to see some familiar faces there that I haven't seen in far too long.

As of right now I'm working this Saturday, however I am going to do whatever I can this week to get someone to take the shift for me. Hopefully I'll be able to get an answer out of someone today. Even though I haven't been super active in Dagorhir for a while, I really like to keep up on what is going on and I love being able to see everyone and chill at the Baker home. I'll post as soon as I can with whether or not Zafthan and I will be able to make it out.

Linwe and I will be at my doctoral buddies' wedding... at 6:30 pm on Saturday. This means we should be able to meet via cell phone while driving out to the wedding.
I have some stuff about the event opener I'll make sure gets to Mithris or someone else to talk about at the meeting. I have a cool battle from Ides I'd like to transition to our event if possible.
I'll try to make all of the southern Legacy aware of this meeting as well, we all really enjoyed getting to share some Ides-ness with fellow Legacy folk!

Unfortunately there is no one who can switch with me at work so I won't be able to make it, but Zafthan is still coming. I'll have him keep me up to speed as to what was talked about and everything.

one thing to put on the agenda (for reals)
an up-to-date e-mail roster! we don't use these boards too much, so it'd be wayyyy better to have an e-mail list we could rely on for critical communications.

Hey I will not be able to make it to the meeting due to a wedding. But I'd be willing to run battles, weapons, check, and troll if needed. Also if there are other positions needed just throw them up here and I'll take one also if you guys want to just assign me one I'm cool.
