When do we want our next meeting to plan our next event?...
it may seem far away but our next event is october 10 ...
thats in almost a month and a half with not too many weekends to plan for our meeting ...
so i propose the saturday of sept 19 ...there will be a day event before that and badon after...but hey its gotta get done somehow ....
so who could make this day?

That weekend is mine and Zafthan's 1 year wedding anniversary. We do have plans to go up to Caseville/Port Austin to my family's other house for a 4 day weekend. However, if there are anniversary gifts we can be persuaded to attend the meeting

Not sure off the top of my head. However, that may be a lot for someone.. meaning weekend 1 drive out to event, weekend 2 drive out to meeting, weekend 3 drive out to badon hill......
I have an idea, and i get it the idea behind these meetings it to get together to hang out and socialize with each other. HOWEVER, what about if we (we meaning Legacy or maybe even Eryndor) could get a conference line. I would have to look into pricing. But for our meetings it would be signicantly more beneficial and probably would have way better attendance if we had a conference line or maybe even a ventrillo server (Those cost like 3 bucks a month for a 15 person server). I would have to research costs of conference lines.
I personally think this would help people who can't make the drive (IE Athron, Linwe, Sidia, Deakon, ALL OF SOUTHERN LEGACY!) or for times when real life > dagorhir and you can not commit your full day. I work at HP which is a "Global" company and 100% of my meetings are done via conference line, presentations are done via Netmeeting (or some form of application sharing program)...
Just an Idea....

thats a really cool idea
but chances our it wouldnt be ready to test by next meeting
yea, it is alot, i realize
but then again there is kinda no room in the dag schedule
other option is that we could plan some stuff at the day event or even at a china buffet after the fact depending on how people could make the event out of legacy...i like that idea actually

I know I should be able to make it on that date. However, What what Fairion brought up, it would be better to try to have the meeting after the day event.
I have no clue as to where it is going to be, but I have a feeling that it is going to be at the same location it has been for the Senegal's the last few times. That being Nike park in Newport.
Also, I know that we are running the event along with the Thiefs Guild. Now, if I not correct on this let me know, but I thought I heard that the Thiefs Guild is no more. If that is true, lets see if the Fury would like to co-host the event along with us instead. This would give them a chance to see what it is all about, and get some of their ideas for battles as well.
Just an idea, thats all.

I kind of like the idea of trying to do a conference call type of thing, especially because I only have every 3rd weekend off with the job I currently have, so weekends are sacred for me. I really love hanging out with everyone, but I don't have a weekend free before October 10th. I understand the world doesn't revolve around me, lol, I'm just throwing that out there. I'm also working on getting a job that doesn't require me to work weekends and holidays. Zafthan and I have a wedding to attend on September 12th, otherwise we would have been able to attend a meeting after the event. I'm pretty excited that you're making us a wedding gift Noroko Hand-made things are always awesome.

While Ventrilo > Teamspeak, Teamspeak is free and really easy to set up a server. I don't know how familiar you are with TS... but yea nice and simple.
A friend of mine is coming back from a 5 month coop in China the Sunday before. So were celebrating his and my birthdays that weekend. I don't know the details, but I think I'm going to be busy.
