New positions?
Hey fam,
i throwin this idea with some other eryndorim and wanna see whatcha think ...
We all kno there is a unit exec.board... but do we want our own unit to have its indivdual positions?...if so, what would they be?...
i was lookin on the dugan and saw they have their own ranking system too...just playin around with some ideas...lookin for feedback..

do we want ranks? My take on the Legacy (and trust me, I'm by no means the definitive word on it) is that we're the mellow-yellow posse without too much structure.
BUT, with that said, there is something to be said for the usefulness of having SOME semblance of a "leadership body" to expedite decision making when we as a unit need to make a decision... maybe 5 to 9 people who know they're expected to make a call when a call needs to be made.
As an aside: I have always *personally* planned to have a little honor for Legacy members for every year anniversary they experience as a member of Legacy... but ya'll won't know what that is until people hit their first year anniversary.

In a way, we already have "Leaders" of Eryndor in the reps for the Unit Council. I believe they are Stone and Mithris, but I can't be sure.
However, I can understand the wanting for some spots of the unit to be in charge of some things.
For example, one person could be in charge of weapons check at every event we host. Someone would need to be in charge of troll as well.
I can see this happening. The holders of these type of positions can be changed every year if needed.
I am hoping to keep "Legacy" for as long as Eryndor is, but things might change in time. If we continue to grow the way that Erydnor grew, then we should look into this.

im with athrons idea on keeping us "mellow-yellow"...lol. ....considering we are the leader-type group anyway ...but im all for wogs idea as well ...and the whole 5 to 9 people to make decisions is good as well...i like that...oh and by the way guys...my two year anniversary is june 6th...lol....i joined on 666...cuz thats not creepy or anything.

I agree with Athron. It would be cool to have those ranks and such but for those who have been fighting for a while know what they are capable of. I just talked to one of my recruits and told him I would like to see the legacy be a small group with a ton of ba fighters instead of a huge group with little knowledge of what they are capable of. Thats all.

oh...i get what u were asking now asashi...i think i did mean more off the field position type...but that doesnt mean that position would keep them more off the field...just doing more background stuff....i think thats what u were saying...i dunno...i could be totally off base though.
