Re: MAKING OUR GRIEVANCIES HEARD AT MEDICOM
Yeah wook it is, but I don't think I can get another superhero body as I don't do ebay. I'm wondering if the massive would work as well?

Re: MAKING OUR GRIEVANCIES HEARD AT MEDICOM
We need to set up a Medi spare parts co-operative. I bet there are other people out there that need an arm here, a leg there and a neckpost etc. If three/four peeps get together and order one figure, take the screw covers off and dismantle you could fix a few hospitalised Medis with one base figure.
Don't quite know how the admins gonna work, but it could be worth a try.
I have a nude 'massive' infront of me now...stop that, you know what I mean, and he has the thigh muscles glued on, I would imagine Supes is the same.
I'll cut and paste this over in 'Re: Fixing Your Broken RAH Bodies' as well, maybe it's worth starting a co-op thread?

Sorry, I should have added the nude RAH I have I use as a figure model for photo/illustration purposes, I used to use a SST Buck, but..well.. it was crap, so I don't want to take him apart.

That is a good idea wook, I might just try the massive, might help with the huge upper body issue Supes had.

Re: MAKING OUR GRIEVANCIES HEARD AT MEDICOM
TIPS THAT MAY HELP SEND THE MESSAGE THROUGH:
Many write LETTERs OF COMPLAINTS... and in the most DIRECT way...which is
... INEFFECTIVE.
It sounds like a caged little pussy Whinning on deaf ears on some kid who doesn't give a sh*t.
Now, the person who receives this type of letter and starts reading immediately knows at the onset of the letter that, obviously, the letter is UNPLEASANT to read through and so THRASHes IT...ASAP! And so the Message did NOT go through.
...What a waste of time and effort on the sender's part.
Well, out of concern and gratitude, I made sure I wrote to Medicom in a manner that they can probably realize the consequence of complacency...like a kick in the balls, hopefully.
Starting the letters with Pleasant Praises and being a fan and supporter will make them more receptive to reading it further
(as they probably translate through it) ...then dropping the bombs on them
Not AT THE START but AT THE END PART of that PLEASANT letter...
got this reply:
Dear Sir
Thank you for your compliment.
We will further put our maximum effort to improve our product.
Your continuous patronage is highly appreciated.
All the best

My THOUGHTS
... hmmmn...reply sounds generic, must be having hard time with english... oh well... OBVIOUSLY they read it through the end...that's all that matters...

Re: MAKING OUR GRIEVANCIES HEARD AT MEDICOM
snake, thanks but i think wookster probably knew all that when he sent the letter. he's had a lot of experience with these companies and probably i imagine in writing letters of complaint too.
but i think we all got the same reply as you did. generic. and i know they can read english. mine was sent in japanese and i got the same response. it seems they aren't too bothered by issues from foreign collectors.

Re: MAKING OUR GRIEVANCIES HEARD AT MEDICOM
Why not send in a letter/email a week/month until they change this problem. If we get enough people doing this they'll have to surrender eventually. There is nothing more annoying than thousands of complaint letters. You could also send them via mail that way they wouldn't be screened. Which would force them to do even more work. Opening letters and such before having to chuck them away is super frustrating. I should know I worked in a mail room for a few months and it seriously does piss people off to the point that they actually do something about it.

Re: MAKING OUR GRIEVANCIES HEARD AT MEDICOM
sounds good, but japanese workers are tenacious. they could handle the mail load. and we'd just end up spending loads sending letters to japan.

Re: MAKING OUR GRIEVANCIES HEARD AT MEDICOM
I don't think they'll give a squat. I don't think any toy company really cares... as long as they got the licences, what are we going to do?
