Yes - the background in that second one was illustrated mostly as vector art in Macromedia Flash.

Oh wow, well it looks great. If I have had to guess I would have thought it was pixel art.
I think the compression on your jpeg must have turned all your smooth edges to jagged ones? Its not a bad thing! Gives it a super cool look. Would like to see some 100% crops from the original!

Thanks, guys. I created the back in that second image back in 2003 or so for a poster.
I decided to use it with the SIC Bats image since I didn't have time to illustrate a background from scratch.

If you right-click on the image and select ZOOM IN - you can check out the details up close. Looks pretty simple up close though. LOL
